How do we face pain, injustice, trauma, or cruelty… and still choose love?

Be. Yourself.

Be Here.

In the Moment.

Be Still.

Be Hope.

Be Joy.

Be Faith.

Be Compassion.

Be Life.

Be Love.

Be the only kindness that some people will ever experience.

Shakespeare’s Hamlet said, “To be or not to be, that is the question.” What do YOU think that means? What does it mean to you – to ‘be?”

Be .. yourself. Do you know yourself enough to be yourself? One way to know yourself better is to find out your learning, working and communicating styles.

Years ago, I did an online learning success assessment and I discovered some interesting things about myself that I had sort of wondered about for years. I say you have nothing to lose; and a better way of life to gain, by doing this assessment. There are definitely other resources online (I’ve taken personality tests, IQ tests, etc) but, this is something that
I completely trust – the answers I got back (I printed out 16 pages of details about myself that genuinely match my personality) weren’t a bunch of rubbish. If you’re interested, click on the link below.

(The test no longer exists, but the site does–ATC Educational Services–and if you’re a homeschooler in North Carolina, in need of a testing site for your students, this looks like a great place to start. Also, I’m not receiving any commission or recognition of any kind for making referrals. I just think that this is a wonderful resource.)

Speaking of wonderful resources, I went searching for a test to replace the one mentioned above. I found two and did the test on both sites: The Learning Style Quiz and the Learning Style Test. Both are free and send your test results for free. I was pleased with the flow of information from both sites (results were delivered in a reasonable amount of time), how each laid out the data and the response time. Have fun getting to know yourself better!

Be Yourself

Be the person you are destined to be

Sing if you have the desire to sing
Tell jokes if you want to make people laugh
Say something encouraging to the sad person next to you – no matter what your friends or family think
Dance in the rain if you have the desire to
Bake a cake
Take an art class
Write a song
Make a movie
Write the book that keeps waking you up in the middle of the night
Go teach someone something
Sheer sheep
Be a cattle rustler
Go learn how to play the drums – or whatever instrument it is that keeps calling out to you
Build a website
Start a home business
Take a karate class
Go for a hike

The good desires that are in your heart are there for one reason – to be acted on

And… Action!
